Dry’s Pond was dug out more than sixty years ago by my grandfather, Cloniger. It’s purpose, at the time was to irrigate the crops he grew. Today it’s a great place for shooting the breeze and fishing. It’s an oval with a straight side along the dam. At its deepest it’s eight feet and filled with bass, brim and turtles. Back when he was living my grandfather was known for spending Sunday afternoons floating around the pond reading his paper.
I’ve worked in the creative industry for over 15 years. As an illustrator I’ve drawn for The Izaak Walton League, Nature’s Delight, Campbell Magazine, Corona and Modelo Beers, and a few others. My illustration style combines the sincerity of drawing with the vibrancy of digital color application. My influences are many; decades of comic book and cartoon consumption, other smelly humans and the desire to tell great stories.
